Founded way back in June of 2021, Otuwhero Yacht Club is the brainchild of an enthusiastic tribe of ocean-lovers and salt-encrusted mariners. Pirates we ARR!, but not your average swashbuckling troupe of surly misfits.
For we are Love Pirates!
Lovers of oceans, freedom, adventure, and even at times, lovers of land-lubbers, the Love Pirates of the OYC have banded together to promote community and knowledge sharing both on and off the water.
Our focus and aim is to bring like-minded pirates and lovers of freedom together in a fun, inclusive and slightly irreverant fashion to celebrate life, love and the arts of sailing.
Otuwhero Yacht Club is a members-only endeavor welcoming new members willing to get they're feet wet. All prospective new members may apply with their pirate credentials via message in a bottle.
